20-22 Ropemaker reaches practical completion
20-22 Ropemaker, EC2, has reached practical completion. Working alongside Old Park Lane Management and Make Architects, the 425,000 sq ft office space was pre-let and will now become the new London headquarters for Linklaters law firm and the Pension Insurance Corporation.
Situated just footsteps away from the new Elizabeth line entrance at Moorgate station, the project was designed with the wellness of its occupants in mind, prioritising connectivity to the outside areas. With a 20,000 sq ft roof terrace and multiple external balconies, 76% of the space offers access to external areas. Ropemaker was awarded a BREEAM Outstanding in 2018, and is a WELL Platinum project, awarded the highest-rating wellbeing award by the International Well Building Institute.
James Cooksey, chief executive at OPLM, said: “20 & 22 Ropemaker demonstrates the demand from the capital’s major occupiers for well-connected workspaces that prioritise the wellbeing of its people.”
