Child Bereavement UK and Cancer Research UK: Bradley Baker’s Chosen Charities for the Ama Dablam Mountain Challenge
It’s just four weeks until CO—RE CEO Bradley Baker embarks on the incredible challenge to climb 6,800 metres to the top of one of the Himalayas' most challenging peaks – Ama Dablam.
Climbing to raise money for two very important charities, Child Bereavement UK and Cancer Research UK, we want to share more about the impact of these organisations.
Child Bereavement UK works to help children, young people, parents and families rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. 1 in 29 school children has been bereaved of a parent or sibling - that’s an average of a child in every class
A parent of a child under 18 dies every 22 minutes in the UK; around 23,600 a year. The charity offers a vital lifeline to those affected, offering the best possible care. To help support the vital work that Child Bereavement UK does, you can donate here.
Cancer Research UK is dedicated to improving lives through research, influence and information. In the last 50 years, their work has helped double cancer survival in the UK. This work includes a world-class research network, which is working to continue towards advancements against many of the most significant cancers. You can donate to Cancer Research here.
Bradley begins his expedition on 1st November.
