CO—RE makes latest strategic hire as roster of projects continues to grow

CO—RE has appointed James Chester as development manager following a period of rapid growth as the central London developer continues to bolster its roster of prestigious projects.

Having worked as Assistant Development Manager at Lendlease since 2017, James has built up a strong breadth of experience across a number of different classes, including complex and mixed-use development sites.

He will be working across a range of ongoing and future projects at CO—RE, in the City of London and the West End.

CO—RE, led by CEO David Ainsworth, is one of the capital’s most active and respected commercial developers and recently moved to its new headquarters at 8 Frederick’s Place in the heart of the City of London.

The developer recently secured a number of significant project wins, including River Court in Fleet Street and 247 Tottenham Court Road, and appointed key senior hires, including senior project manager Ed Thomson. It recently completed Bureau in Farringdon and One Fen Court in the City of London.

James Chester said:

“It is hugely exciting to be joining CO—RE as it continues to break new ground and hit new milestones. I am looking forward to helping to deliver some truly first-class projects and working with the most talented people in the industry.”

David Ainsworth, Chief Executive of CO—RE, added:

“With James’ appointment, we are bolstering an already stellar team during a period of expansion as we continue to increase our capacity to deliver more projects than ever before. James’ impressive track record speaks for itself and we are delighted that he has chosen to work for a developer that continues to go from strength to strength.”
