Savills appointed as joint agents for 72 Upper Ground Development, alongside Cushman and Wakefield

We are pleased to welcome Savills as joint agents for our landmark redevelopment of 72 Upper Ground, the former ITV studios on London’s South Bank.

The appointment comes as construction has started on site, with Cushman & Wakefield already working on the project. The riverside development is due to be completed in 2029.

Shinichi Kagitomi Chief Executive of Mitsubishi Estate London and Stephen Black, Director at CO—RE shared their thoughts:

“Savills brings exceptional market expertise and a proven track record in leasing landmark London developments. Their appointment alongside Cushman & Wakefield strengthens our leasing team as we move forward with this transformative project in one of London's most dynamic and culturally significant locations.”

Targeting net zero carbon in operation and a BREEAM Outstanding certification, the mixed-use development has been designed by Make Architects and will include a 25-storey high-quality workspace alongside affordable areas specifically tailored to Lambeth's emerging creative industries, new cafes and restaurants, cultural venues and open, green spaces.
